JLL has taken top position in the Bristol office disposals league table for a second year, with the market bouncing back after a disappointing 12 months.
The firm cemented its status as the top office agency in the city by increasing its share of all office space disposed to a third. It handled the largest deal of the past 12 months, 200,000 sq ft pre-let at Assembly to BT, alongside second-placed Savills.
Overall take-up rose by 40% year-on-year, with more than 960,000 sq ft transacted, and although offices generally stood empty during lockdown, several significant deals have completed since restrictions were introduced earlier this year, such as the 132,000 sq ft pre-let at 100 Bristol Business Park to Babcock by Lambert Smith Hampton. The second largest deal of 2020 was completed pre-lockdown, a 74,000 sq ft pre-let at Halo to Osborne Clarke by Knight Frank.
