William Hill has said it will not re-open 119 betting shops following early lease breaks.
The gambling chain, which already closed 713 shops last year, outlined expectations that longer term retail footfall “will not return to pre-Covid levels”.
The majority of staff within affected stores will be redeployed within the estate.
