Khan secures £67m for rough sleepers

London mayor Sadiq Khan has secured a £67m grant to create 900 new long-term homes in the capital.

The finance is part of the government’s £160m fund to provide new homes for people in emergency accommodation by the end of 2020/21.

The mayor will use the funds for the development, acquisition and refurbishment of homes, as well as revenue funding for up to four years’ support toward affordable rental homes.
