Radius league: LSH speeds to top of M1 corridor ranking

Lambert Smith Hampton secured the top position in EG’s Radius M1 league table 2020, with a total of 177,933 sq ft transacted in 2019-2020. The agency struck 23 deals, with an average size of 7,736 sq ft, according to Radius Data Exchange. CBRE dropped to second place, despite the total space disposed by the agency growing by 4,634 sq ft year-on-year.  CBRE also led the largest transaction in the region, a 57,741 sq ft deal at Burystead Court, Caldecotte Lake Business Park in Milton Keynes.  The average deal size came to 4,376 sq ft, a year-on-year increase of 14%, which agents will see as a positive development for the UK commercial property market during this uncertain time. However, the total number of deals decreased slightly from 187 to 160.
