Colliers joins call for landlords to tackle Legionnaires’ disease risk

Colliers has joined a number of firms warning landlords to tackle the risk of an outbreak of Legionnaires’ disease as a growing number of occupiers return to the office.

The UK Health and Safety Executive issued guidance to help prevent an outbreak of the disease last month as landlords looked to reopen workplaces.

Legionnaires’ is a serious lung infection caused by bacteria entering into a water supply (for example, through air-conditioning systems, showers, taps and toilets).
