The BSI has published back-to-work guidelines for businesses to operate safely and adhere to social distancing rules.
The guidelines are based around four key principles: plan (such as implementing one-way systems in corridors, stairways and common areas); do (ensuring staff arrivals and departures are staggered); check (monitor safety measures and controls); and act (taking actions to improve or change safety measures that are not effective).
The guidelines will be revised frequently to “reflect the dynamic situation businesses are in today, taking into account the comments, government guidance, the level of risk and emerging knowledge”.
