SDL Auctions offers chocolate box house in May sale
A picture-perfect grade II listed house built in the 1700s is among 125 lots on offer in SDL Auctions national sale on 28 May.
Once the home of artist Lamorna Birch, Green Beck House in Halton Green, Halton, Lancaster, is guided at £369,000-plus. The five-bedroom detached property is being offered on a conditional basis.

It will be the second national property auction for the company, after it raised £5.5m from its 30 April sale.
Parker will once again be at the rostrum, accompanied in the auction studio by his wife, Rachael, who is the regional property manager for the East Midlands, managing internet bids. A remote team will handle telephone bids.
Mixed-use investments include a property on the busy Hagley Road West in Oldbury, guided at £185,000. The two-storey building comprises a shop, office space, two bedroom apartment and a storage unit. The office and storage unit are currently vacant, putting the income at £16,200.
SDL switched all of its room auctions to monthly national property auctions broadcast live over the internet due to the Covid-19 crisis and has also continued to hold bespoke online auctions, raising more than £17m for sellers since the lockdown began.
Parker said: “It is clear the need to sell property has not diminished during the crisis and we’re proud to be able to help sellers achieve their aims by providing the certainty of an auction sale.”
