First look: Native Land lodges plans for luxury resi at Kilmuir House

Native Land has submitted plans to develop Kilmuir House on Eaton Terrace in Belgravia, SW1. The developer and investor has lodged plans with Westminster City Council for a luxury residential scheme of 54 homes in the central London borough. Kilmuir House comprises a combination of one, two and three-bedroom flats with affordable housing, in a traditional Georgian and Victorian style. The scheme from architects Pilbrow & Partners will see a reduction in building height on the site neighbouring Ebury Street and South Eaton Place. It will also provide a 50% reduction in CO2 emissions alongside new landscaped public realm and a courtyard. Native Land chief executive, Alasdair Nicholls, said: “Our proposed plans for Kilmuir House will sympathetically repair this historic urban block in one of London’s most prestigious locations. “We have spent three years carefully considering our architectural approach to the redevelopment of this site in close consultation with the local community and Westminster City Council.” Native Land acquired the long leasehold for the 49-flat post war building in 2016 with joint venture partner Amcorp Properties Berhad.
