IPG Mediabrands, part of The Interpublic Group of Companies, has agreed to take 93,000 sq ft over the lower ground and 2nd to 8th floors of Endurance Land’s The Bailey, EC4.
Flexible office provider Knotel will take the remaining 21,000 sq ft on the ground and first floors.
The 115,000 sq ft building, which is owned by the Nan Fung Group and developed by Endurance Land following the formation of its strategic partnership in late 2018, received planning permission for an extensive refurbishment and extension scheme in 2018. It is due for completion in Q1 2021.
Jonathan Fletcher, chief executive and founder of Endurance Land, said: “These lettings are a testament to the quality of the development’s design, its connectivity and its sustainable credentials. With IPG operating in 130 countries we see this investment in London as a reflection of the diverse and cutting edge talent pool that best-in-class tenants require.”
EG revealed last May that IPG Mediabrands had launched a search for around 100,000 sq ft in central London. The agency is currently based in just 43,497 sq ft UK headquarters at 42 St John’s Square, EC1.
BH2 advised Nan Fung Group/Endurance Land; JLL represented IPG Mediabrands.
