Former GL Hearn execs launch new firm
A new real estate advisory firm led by former GL Hearn executives Alastair Crowdy and Brian Sloggett has opened its doors.
Newsteer has launched with a team of 22 employees and will focus on transactional, town planning, development and lease advisory services to private and public sector clients in the residential and commercial markets.
The team of 10 partners is led by managing director Crowdy and chairman Sloggett. At GL Hearn, Crowdy was national head of planning, development and regeneration and Sloggett was managing director.

Other partners at the new firm, a number of whom worked alongside Crowdy and Sloggett at GL Hearn, are David Brown, Paul Manning, David Slatter, Richard Garside, David Conboy, Hugo Fogden, Grant Woollard and Stefan Davies.
