Knight Frank hires former HFF Europe head to lead London capital markets
Knight Frank has hired Jamie Pope, former joint office head of HFF Europe, to lead its London capital markets division.
Pope, who has more than 25 years of experience working with UK and international capital, left HFF following its $2bn (£1.7bn) acquisition by JLL in March.
Prior to HFF Pope led CBRE’s London capital markets business. He has extensive experience of leading portfolio transactions, joint venture structuring, capital raising for development and title restructuring.

Pope’s former co-head at HFF Europe, David Church, left the business almost immediately following its acquisition by JLL.
At Knight Frank, Pope will work alongside partners Nick Braybrook and Stephen Clifton with the aim of driving the London capital markets and development business forward. Knight Frank said it would also utilise Pope’s significant global experience across its wider investment activities.
Pope, who takes up the role of chair on 1 January, said it was a “tremendous opportunity” and that he was looking forward to an “exciting new challenge”.

Recent high profile deals undertaken by Pope inlcude advising Blackstone on the £248m sale of Cannon Bridge House, EC4, and acting for Celvam Management on its £475m acquisition of London Executive Offices.
