Global insurance firm signs for 22 Bishopsgate
Global insurance firm Canopis has signed for two floors at AXA IM – Real Assets’ 22 Bishopsgate, EC2.
Canopius has taken a 10-year lease for 50,000 sq ft on the 29th and 30th floors of the 62-storey building, which will become its new UK headquarters.
It is expected that Canopius will move into the office in 2020.

Canopius has taken a 10-year lease for 50,000 sq ft on the 29th and 30th floors of the 62-storey building, which will become its new UK headquarters.
It is expected that Canopius will move into the office in 2020.
The deal brings the total amount of space prelet at 22 Bishopsgate to more than 580,000 sq ft.
Other confirmed tenants include US-serviced office group Convene, law firm Cooley and data analytics provider Verisk, while Apple is also reportedly looking at taking 100,000 sq ft as it awaits the completion of its headquarters at Battersea Power Station.
AXA IM Real Assets said it is in “advanced discussions with several other occupiers” and said it expects to make further announcements shortly.

“Canopius join three other insurers in the building, all of which have given special attention to the ability for their new headquarters at 22 Bishopsgate to support their people and their ongoing business success.”
CBRE and JLL acted for the landlord; Savills acted for Canopius.
