Crown Estate appoints JLL to manage central London assets

The Crown Estate has appointed JLL as managing agent to its central London portfolio, following a competitive tender process.

The mandate, which includes property and facilities management services, covers around 10m sq ft of commercial and residential properties across the Crown Estate’s central London holdings, including all of Regent Street and roughly half of St James’s.

James Cooksey, director of central London at the Crown Estate, said: “We believe that working closely in partnership with a single managing agent will enable us to better collaborate and drive efficiencies to improve quality, consistency and encourage innovation.”
